The evening for people to come and be familiar with the new defibrillator took place last night with a group of volunteers from within the village. The training was offered by Ian Drury from Volunteer Matters. It was supported by our Ward Councillor Peter Wilkinson and members from various groups that use the facilities at the Memorial Hall.
There were training aids included to help understand what happens when a defibrillator is needed.
The overall response was positive and helped those that took part to be aware that they are capable in the event of an emergency what to assess in that type of situation.
